Saturday in Apt

Yesterday we took a trip to a neighboring town called Apt.  They have a weekly outdoor market there where the cheapest towel is 16 euro (please send me a towel mom)...  Anyway, we arrived around 10:30 due to poor organization of transportation by the school, and proceeded to try and find somewhere to have a quick and inexpensive breakfast.  Apparently this place doesn't exist in Apt so we finally gave in and sat down at the nearest cafe only to find that they wouldn't be serving food until 12pm.  Exhausted, we decide the best thing to do would be to just wait and have a cup of tea.  We had a beautiful lunch which ended up costing about 12 euros a piece.  Around halfway through our meal we noticed that the market was shutting down for the day which would have been a nice thing to have been in our info packets.  We finished lunch and took a nice walk around taking pictures.  We ran our errands, I bought a converter for my charger that's due to arrive on Monday, and had a beer.  Around 6 we decided that it would be a good time to head back to Lacoste and since the school hardly offers the transportation promised we had to call a cab.  We had trouble getting in touch with a company so we asked a lovely french woman who worked in a postcard shop near by to call one for us.  After trying 6 different companies who were too busy, she kindly offered us a ride.  We graciously excepted and headed on.  When we reached Lacoste she wouldn't except the money we offered and told us to take it and have a drink on her.  We plan on bring her flowers next weekend.

la ville est très belle! je suis jalouse que tu sois en France... Mais, tu déménageras à Philadelphia quand tu reviendras, n'est-ce pas?

alors, amuse-toi bien et je te parlerai tôt! je t'aime! xoxo
